GOOD NEWS REGARDING THE ANTHEM BLUE CROSS PPO NETWORK – April 9, 2012
Previously, we had informed you that Good Samaritan Hospital – San Jose and Regional Medical Center of San Jose had terminated their contracts with Anthem Blue Cross effective March 3, 2012. Since then, both parties had continued active negotiations and a multi-year agreement with an effective date of April 1, 2012 was reached.
There is a lapse in participating status from March 3, 2012 through March 31, 2012. As of April 1, 2012, both Good Samaritan Hospital – San Jose and Regional Medical Center of San Jose are once again network hospitals.
